While studying for one semester in Rome, Italy, I enjoyed taking classes about the Italian language, Italian food and culture, European mass media among other courses. It was eye opening to explore the culture I was living in through eating, traveling, and speaking the language. Rome will always have a special place in my heart as I made a point to get to know it. I also had an unforgettable time traveling within Italy visiting Florence, Assisi, Milan, Venice, Naples, Sorrento, Pompeii, and Capri. I also visited Paris, Brussels, Berlin, and London.

I was selected for the LA Intensive, a competitive networking experience in Los Angeles, with a focus in television and film.
I met and networked with American University alumni in the entertainment industry at various stages in their careers. I gained a better understanding about how to make the plunge and begin a career in Hollywood. I also garnered a greater appreciation for all of the work that goes into getting a project off the ground before any production happens to its fruition when publicity and marketing get involved.
