Campaigns
Voices of '68
The following are works created as part of my senior capstone project working with the DC Public Library Foundation. During the project, the class planned a campaign to further the DC Public Library Foundation's campaign People's University on the American University campus. (The People's University is a campaign to remember the 50th anniversary of the events in DC in 1968, including, the Poor People's march, the DC Riots, and Martin Luther King, Jr.'s assassination.) The campaign included a week of events (a teach-in, panel discussion on race relations, fundraising happy hour, jazz night, etc.) on and off campus. Additionally, included are graphics I created for the final client presentation.

Sprouting Totowa- Website Design
I have never had a green thumb and did not know much about gardening, but when I heard that my local community garden could use some help online, I volunteered. I worked to improve user experience, making the site easier to navigate, and ensured visitors would see the call to action right away,.
Say 80Thing- Website Design
Looking to broaden its digital presence, the 80s cover band Say 80Thing approached me about building them a website. I prepared a pitch including potential designs, time frame, and budget. Taking feedback along the way, I built Say 80Thing's website with two audiences in mind, fans and talent bookers. Fans can easily find upcoming shows and subscribe to the band's mailing list. Talent bookers can get a sense of the band and see what venues the band has previously played.
